Greetings again all. Sorry to have been off the beam last month, but, ha!, it's June, and we're back. May turned out to be what the farmers would call a fallow month for me, in part because I had far too much life going on, and because I hadn't figured out how to make that wonderful 'goal' aspect of this gig fit into the edmo framework. But, I have a plan this month, and it is to go by scene, which is in many ways a malleable marker, but I think it'll work. So, three things about me, one of which is not true. 1. I lived in Kuwait at one point. 2. I lived in England at one point. 3. I lived in Hungary at one point. Here is wishing all of you a wonderful month with your novels and all those fascinating, and sometimes pesky, characters that inhabit them. Write on! -Flatiron

I enjoyed every minute of MayNoWriMo.
Right, that's got the fiction out of the way. Anyway, this month I'm writing a post-apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy called Dark Star. I'm also freezing, because it's winter and currently about 10 degrees C in my writing cave.
I am actually writing from an outline this month. It's an old outline I haven't touched in two or three years, but it's an outline. This month should be interesting...

I enjoyed and loved MayNoWriMo, and i will be working on finishing chapters to my old and new novels and novels series besides writing or rewriting old and new fanfics! I have started besides losing more weight for the beginning of June, so i want to continue to achieve my goals for this year in June!

Fiction, huh. I enjoyed and loved MayNo! I loved writing. I loved the stories I worked on! I loved the weather! I loved all the time I spent with my mother, sister, and some other family members! I loved how much I got sick! And, last but not least, I loved how much I won! Okay. That was my fiction! Clean the slate. On to June. Better month to come

I thought that May was the best month and I wasn't stressed at all! ^ Good. Fiction out of the way, nice and early. I'm not actually participating in WriDaNoJun, but I'll still be here! This month, I'll be writing a lot of PWP as I really need to get better with my sex scenes, and outlining the rewrite of Conceptual Bindings, while trying to figure out Caucasian Blur. Oh, and I just recorded me jumping and dancing around like a loony. It's now true-I've no dignity left

Hey everybody, I'm so glad to see you all on for another month! Looks like quite a few of us had similar experiences in the writing zone in May, so here's three cheers for May, and good riddance, at least in the writing department. Sianna: Good luck with writing from an outline. I haven't tried that yet, but given the massive task I've created for myself by 'pantsing' it, perhaps I will consider it next time. I'll be curious to see how it goes. Marie: Sounds like you are on the way for your goals this year! Congratulations, and keep up the good work! butterflywings: LOL, that sounds like a tough month! Ok, so I guess we won't lock you in a remote cabin with your family for the month. Hope this month's clean slate gets filled with interesting scenes! Gio: When I suggested that you join us on the June board, I was just suggesting that you make a version of your 'words in progress' thread over here to the June section, not that you go post over at wridanoju. Mars: Glad to hear that May was a low stress month. As for sex scenes, they are kind of an art form in themselves, and one good resource I've found on this craft is 'The Joy of Writing Sex: a guide for fiction writers', by Elizabeth Benedict. And now I'll show my ignorance. What is a PWP? Welcome to June everybody, may the winds of fiction be in your sails. Write on! -Flatiron

Ugh-they're hard! I'm slowly, slowly, working on them...can I possibly steal someone who won't laugh at them and tell me how they are-especially in terms of being realistic?

Mars, I'll volunteer to read (and no LOLs unless it's a humourous sex scene ). Er... do those actually happen or was I just really unfair to Toby for the last two months?
