NEVER! Who would I use to procrastinate with?

Instead of writing a d*** novel in June, you could set a study goal. Here, at least. I don't think WriDaNoJu lets people pick their own goal... I don't know. So far I'm just trying to post a lot and suggesting changes to the colour scheme over there. It's pretty d*** quiet. (Love a wrimo where mild swearing is allowed ) I'm looking forward to JulNo and having loads more people around to help me procrastinate get motivated.

Study goals never work for me-I don't even know what I'll be studying next semester. I LOVE JULNO! Talk there every night

LOL. Yes, your intended PPT in WriDaNoJu got well and truly hijacked, didn't it? I'm pretty sure JulNo has a dedicated spot for them, so that should be okay.
Speaking of JulNo, who's in?

Hey, Mars, Siana, Marie. Long time, no read. How've you all been? I just learned about this forum today, so I thought I'd pop over and check it out.
I'm going to check out JulNo before I decide if I want to register over there or not.

Hey, Marie. I'm not sure about that JulNo. They require you to write at least a 50k novel in July. At the moment, I can't comment to that much writing. I've been in a major slump lately. I haven't written a single word since FebNo. Well, except for shopping lists and things like that. LOL
I'm considering starting a new JulNo (might have to use a different name, since the other one is JulNo, and I wouldn't want to confuse anyone.), so I can come up with my own goals, and if there's anyone else that wants a lower goal for July, they would be welcome over on my forum. If I create it, that is. LOL

Welcome Amy, hope you get your groove back, either here or elsewhere. I used to live in Austin, so I've been down your way a few times, though now I've absconded up to Colorado, where the summers are a bit cooler. Along with other forums, most of the folks here will be on for a July wrimo on this site too, so if you want to join in the fun, please do. Or, if you'd like to jump into a challenge for yourself for the last part of this month, be it additional wordcount or editing what you've got, jump in over in our challenges section. Either or neither, welcome! Write on! -Flatiron

Thanks for the welcome, Flatiron. I've driven through Colorado several times. I used to drive a big rig (aka 18-wheeler). The first mountain I ever drove was across Vail, if you know where that is. I do enjoy challenges. I just have to find a way to kick-start my Muse. I think she went on vacation or something without leaving a forwarding address. I don't think our two forums would be competing with each other. Word count is, after all, word count. LOL I hosted FebNo this year and thought about hosting AprNo, but left that one in maintenance mode and didn't open it up for April. I didn't notice, but does your forum require meeting a minimum word count for the month? If so, what is it? Okay, I just created the new forum. I had to go with julnowrimo because the other names I tried were already taken. I'll probably put it in maintenance mode until I get some things set up, but I think people can register anyway. The URL is: julnowrimo.proboards.com. I'll probably run it the same way I did FebNo. Hey, Mars! Good to read you again!
