Hey everyone, here's my beginning of the month check in for August: - Dust on backside? Check. - Bruise on backside? Check. - Horse named EdMo snickering for having tossed me? Check. - Me getting back on? Check. I had a good long talk with a friend of mine about his first novel and the many months he put in to get it edited, and that was working with an editor. It was good to hear that the dauntingness isn't just my own. Here's wishing everyone a great month, whether you're tracking here or over at one of the other August wrimo sites. Write on! -Flatiron

Hi everyone. Hmm... not exactly the beginning of the month, but:
Ideas for August and no idea how to execute them? Check. Failed week one? Check. Awesome playlist? Check. Clever PPT title? Well... not yet. At least I'm here, though.

Hello! I'm here. Still alive.
Work in progress is killing me. I'd love to ignore it, but it won't let me. It makes me dream about it, writes it's characters into other novels if I try working on them instead, and won't let me fulfill my daily gotta-get-this-done list. All while being annoyingly unclear about simple things like plot.
Besides that minor annoyance, life has gone from crazy to insanely crazy. I keep telling myself it will calm, but I'm done fooling myself and ready to embrace the insanity and will be adding to it every chance I can get (meaning: I'll be on here more often now. Especially since my Internet is no longer conspiring against me).
Hello everyone!

Hey everybody, good to see that you're still out there! Returning to the work is only a single step away, though the thinking that comes before that action might make it seem like it's a million miles farther.
Write on!
