The most recent post contains a (writing related) 'truth' and 'dare' option. Pick one!
Truth: Have you ever killed, attempted to kill or pretended to kill a main character just to increase your word count? Why or why not? Did it work?
Dare: Try to write 748 words or more in 15 minutes! Edit your post and add your result.

Siana I never kill characters just to increase the word count. I make them date and the story runs beserk. I let alone that they may also make children and I have a sequel.

Aw, that's sweet. Not that I've ever killed any characters for words, just to save the plot . Gio, you're supposed to post a 'truth' and 'dare option for the next person...

Allright then. Truth: Do you think we are writing about the things that we cannot commit or do you thing that (as Freud said) thought is action in rehearsal? Dare: Answer with the fewest possible words. Former or latter?

Hmm. I think your Truth or Dare end up being the same thing?
I think that we can do either or both or neither. It depends on the person. I have seen things in life, in movies, and even in dreams that come together to make my characters and my stories have more depth. Do I believe I am writing things I am subconsciously wanting to do? No. Do I believe I am writing things I am going to someday do or act out because I have written them. No.
Do I believe someone could be writing that way? Sure.
Truth: Tell us the most embarrassing experience your character has ever had or Dare: "It was all just a dream!" - the last scene/chapter was just a dream! Your character is relieved, terrified, sad? Time for a redo!

Toby would die if his last scene turned out to be a dream, so he suggested I might like to go for an embarrassing moment and pointed me in the direction of Elgard instead of him...
The worst thing that's happened to Elgard so far is being attacked with drumsticks by his two best friends, though, so I'll have to delve into his future and hope he doesn't read about it. I'm going with embarrassing in the 'friends ROFL' sense, bu the way.
Aside from things like losing the keys to his van and then having to admit that they were in his pocket, or having to wear a suit to work because he was meeting a client, Elgard's most embarrassing moment that I can think of right now is when he was/will be kissing Keira in the hallway outside her flat. Okay, maybe getting a little carried away for a public place... Anyway, the old lady next door comes out at exactly the wrong moment and starts hurling abuse at him and possibly hitting him with her handbag, all the while dragging an innocent dog around with her...
So... er...
Truth: Have your characters ever rebelled and complained about the plot until you changed it?
Dare: Let the characters run wild! Write a scene where you and your major characters are in a room together talking about the story.

Ooh wow...so picking dare. This promises to be interesting-I'll update my PPT with the results Truth-Have your characters ever made you buy something in RL, simply because they liked it? Dare-Attempt to stay off this, and all other writing related forums for an hour-WITHOUT closing the broswer and turning the internet off (If anyone does this, I'd really like to know how!)

Yes, my characters made me buy a t-shirt with a saying for me to wear to try to act her within the thought of what could happen for her scenes in her novel!
Truth: Have you ever had your character do something weird in one of your scenes!
Dare: to have you write a crazy scene with one or two of your characters who never acted out of character before!

I'll take truth...
Yes, my characters do weird things all the time. My favourite lately was when Elgard was cooking curry chicken (extra hot!) and then had to reassure the other guys that the creme caramel was chilli-free...
Now...
Truth: Share the most romantic line one of your characters has ever used.
Dare: Try to write 1500 words in 1/2 an hour.

I'll go for truth - I have a male and female character I'm very attached to who have been best friends since childhood (and who are now dating), they try to take over every story xD Anyway, the female has chronic health issues and was kind of despairing over how she was always in hospital and how much of a drag it must be for the guy. And he said "Kaira, the smartest thing I've ever done was stick with you. My life without you...well, it wouldn't be a life, it would just be an existence. A hollow, incomplete one at that. Stop worrying, honey...just focus on getting better. I'm by your side through anything and you'll never be a drag to me." Disgustingly corny, but there you have it, and I awww-ed while writing it xD He can be so sweet <3
Truth: Have you ever based a character on someone you don't like/were mad at in real life, so you could get revenge? Dare: Have one of your characters accidentally tell someone in the story how they feel about them, positive or negative...with awkward results.

Hmm, I'll stick with truth for this one.
Um, there were a few short stories...with a lot of people...heh. They all died.
Truth: Have your characters ever demanded to be written as you're listening to a song? Have you either hated or liked that song?
Dare: Have a character confess that he likes Justin Bieber in a scene.

Truth, because none of my characters are even likely to know who Bieber is. And the truth is that a lot of my characters are related to songs in some way, because my music collection is one of my big sources of inspiration. I don't generally hear a song and have a character pop up and demand to be written, but there's a recent exception to the rule. Go and listen to 'hold on to my heart' by WASP and then read over my Darkness Within snips on April Fools. This is pretty much Elgard and Keira's song. And it just came on as I started typing... Anyway, I acknowledge your insanity and counter with my truth or dare: Truth: admit exactly how much planning you've done for your next writing venture. Dare: pick a theme song for your current main character.

Seeming as I already have a theme song for Riley, gotta go with truth! 7k. Around that. Plus hours talking to the characters Truth: How well do you know your characters? Dare: FInd out how many words you can write in five minutes (I reccomend WoD), times that by ten, and try to write it in an hour

I'll take the truth, i know my characters really well, because their sometimes apart of me and what i go through in life whenever i meet someone at school or anyone i talk to at school! I imagine some of them as characters in my novels, besides using my imagination to make them more believable. i think is really cool to fit into my novels to make them really good to read!
Truth: have you ever written anyone of your new characters as a DJ or a singer?
Dare: write for 15 minutes set within a timer about a weird scene you would want your characters to be in!

Truth. Elgard! Awesomely cool (and cute) heavy metal singer and guitarist. In my dreams he loks like this guy: www.spirit-of-metal.com/membre_groupe/photo/Ville_Laihiala-14146.jpgNow it's my turn: Truth: Do you have pics of the hot guys/girls you'd like to write about or are writing about? Dare: Pick a letter of the alphabet. Then try to write a whole page without using that letter!
